Out-tasking and the Rise of Cloud Computing:  Why It Will Work This Time

The terms 'cloud computing' and 'utility computing' are not new. The market has dabbled before-and failed across the board. So why now? What's different this time around? This time it's a requirement. There is a new, unstructured type of data being generated today from desktops around the globe at rates the world has never experienced. This is bringing management nightmares, and untapped business opportunities the likes of which the industry has never seen. So why will we-as an industry-succeed this time? By taking the "or" out of the equation, and replacing with "and".
