Fibre Channel drives well over 90% of the SAN infrastructure market, with the industry intent on expanding into broader markets.  As tiered storage, ILM, security, green storage and costs become more prominent on the radar screens of IT managers worldwide, the maturity, innovation and vision of the Fibre Channel industry helps explain why Fibre Channel is the leader in external storage.  This session will show what the Fibre Channel industry is doing with initiatives and protocol enhancements that will take Fibre Channel's mastery of the Enteprise across the full SME spectrum.  Just one example is the emergence of Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE).
